A mild, creamy, family-friendly curry. Gentle spices and a rich coconut sauce make this a winner with kids.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 large onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 100ml double cream
  • 2 tbsp korma paste
  • 1 tbsp ground almonds
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Place the chicken, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix the coconut milk, korma paste, ground almonds, turmeric, and garam masala. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Cook on Low for 5-6 hours or High for 3 hours.
  4. Stir in the double cream in the last 20 minutes.
  5. Serve with pilau rice and naan bread.

Tips

Add a handful of flaked almonds and fresh coriander on top when serving for a restaurant finish.
